Welcome from Jana

Hi welcome to my new Web log, I am glad you are taking some time out of your busy day to check in with me. I live in the San Juan Mountains where we must have had at least 2 feet of new snow in the last two days. When I wake up in the morning I run through a series of questions to make sure that my day proceeds smoothly. The typical questions for me are, did I bring in enough wood for the wood stove to get the fire going, have I done what I need to do making sure the well is pumping water into the lodge and am I prepared to stay indoors if I need to. How similar is this to the way you start your day? Do you think about what you need to move smoothly through the day or do you enter into the day in strife and frenzy? The mountains have provided me a great opportunity to slow down and assess what I need, and to stop me as 2 feet of snow has done. When I was in the throws of my own addiction these would have been good reasons to drink…and today I am happy that I don’t have to worry about driving out of a driveway through a gate that is blocked by snow and that having enough wood is what I worry about. Please stop back in and hear how the snow removal process goes…
